NHL resumes once again

And, regardless of what happens in the playoffs, I am pleased that the NHL regular season resumed with another sound Ottawa Senators win versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

This posting comes to you from Fort Simpons, Northwest Territories. Today, I saw a community teacher wearing a Leafs t-shirt, and my sensible occasional northern buddy from INAC, wearing a Sens hat once again.

Veering off topic, here is a pretty nice fall photo of the Mackenzie River.
It is big. Yep. Big.

Hidtory shows the Sens always do well in the regular season, but flop in the playoffs. The Leafs have beaten them, what, 4 times in the playoffs, even after losing the regular season series in at least 2, if not 3 of those seasons? I have no doubt if the Leafs had snuck in as the 8 seed last year.. the Sens would have choked against them as well.

So go and crow about your regular season win tonight... its the playoffs that matter.. and the Sens are sorely lacking in the bragging department when that time rolls around ;)
