Still another one bites the dust and takes a pass

Canadian Press is reporting, less than one hour ago, that Martin Cauchon will announce that he will not seek the Leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada, which has the effect of further concentrating the Leadership race around GTA&Toronto types, and also reducing somewhat the "generation change" theory.

Whereas, Manley, Rock, Tobin, and McKenna are all, roughly, in their mid fifties, Cauchon is in his forties, like Bevilacqua, Stronach, and, I think, Brison.

That would also be a loss on the Quebec and Francophone front.

I haven't compiled a list lately. It grows and shrinks too quickly.

I see that the Dan McTeague fun of last Monday (March 13) Hill Times has not continued. Phew. No critical mass as he pondered his options, I guess.
